Steve has extensive knowledge of the Environmental Services sector having learnt the industry from the ground up. Commencing as a HGV driver in the early 1990s, he progressed in to supervisory and later, commercial and managerial roles.
This hands on approach over the last 20 years has given Steve experience and knowledge in all areas of the environmental sectors – Operational, Environmental & Commercial – leading to him being the natural choice as Commercial Director of Ancorra.
In 1978, Trevor began his career in the provision of Environmental services when joining a national corporation Company as manager of the tank cleaning division. He left to commence his own business in 1983 and built the business year on year.
Over the next twenty seven years, in a variety of roles but finally as Chairman, Trevor managed the growth of the UK company from 20 to 120 employees, diversifying into hazardous & non-hazardous waste management at its licensed waste transfer station, recycling of plastic, paper & cardboard at its separate recycling centre, and the growth of its Environmental Services division at its third site.
